We offer initial care consults, and referrals to appropriate services tailored to individual needs. We offer individual care consults (with you) and/or parent care consults (with parents or care givers).

You can schedule an appointment by contacting us directly via email, or through our online booking system. Once you have contacted us and made an appointment we will send you a general form to collect some information specific to your situation.

During your first session, we will discuss your concerns, conduct an initial consultation, and provide guidance on the next steps for your journey.

Sessions typically last between 60-90 minutes, depending on the nature of the consultation. Some sessions may go for longer or much shorter than this depending on the situation at hand.

After your initial session, we will provide recommendations and refer you to the most suitable professionals or services based on your needs. We will send you a follow up email with a list of appropriate referrals and/or recommendations.
We can also provide some reading resources and links to quality research content about the general area you’re engaging with if needed. This can help while you wait to see the best clinician for you, making the time more useful and less confusing. We are more than happy to discuss these with you over the phone if that helps to provide clarity.

Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid any cancellation fees. Please be mindful that appointments are limited and if you let us know you are unable to attend your appointment in advance we can offer the time to someone else who needs some help.

To prepare for your first session, gather any relevant information about your history and any concerns you would like to discuss. Please email this information and the information gathering sheet we will send you prior to your appointment. You can send these through to us by email.

Absolutely! All services are confidential in accordance with professional and legal standards.

We explore a range of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioural concerns, developmental disorders like ADHD, life transitions, trauma and many more. Nothing is too “big” to talk through with you. In fact, it is a great privilege to wade through tricky things with you.

An initial care consult session involves an initial assessment to determine the most appropriate mental health services or professionals for your needs. It's about hearing your story and understanding how you’re feeling.

We use a thorough psychological interview to understand your specific concerns and then match you with the most suitable resources or specialists.

Follow-up sessions can be arranged if needed. The goal is to ensure you receive ongoing support and guidance as required and as Ever Mind do not offer ongoing services this will likely include a referral to someone who can see you for this ongoing support.

Yes, we offer consultations and support specifically for families, including guidance for parents dealing with their children's mental health needs.

If you are unsure about which type of mental health support you need, our initial care consult will help clarify your needs and recommend the best path forward.

As Ever Mind does not provide ongoing support, unfortunately we are unable to provide Medicare funded sessions.

Our initial clinician opinion sessions are $275. This fee reflects the time and care we invest in getting to know you and understanding your unique needs, as well as our initial care consult summary, referral list, and reading resources if needed.
We’ve set our fee to ensure we offer high-quality, thoughtful support while covering the professional standards and expertise that guide our practice. Our goal is to deliver genuine value and clarity.

Unfortunately not. Ever Mind Psychology focuses on providing personalised guidance, clarity and support for your needs. However, we do not offer crisis intervention services. If you’re experiencing a mental health emergency or need urgent assistance, please reach out to your local emergency services on 000 or contact a crisis support hotline. In NSW you can also call the local Mental Health Helpline at 1800 011 511 for immediate support. For any non-urgent concerns, we’re here to offer the clarity and support you need on your mental health journey.
Guiding you through expert clinical opinion and personalised referrals
